The last thing I watched was the new Doctor Who episode, but I'll review the play I saw last night. Faust, but a new adaptation/version of the story.
It was some of the best theatre I've seen in a long time. Dr. Faust (played by Cameron Cobb) was a researcher for a pharmaceutical company. He sells his soul to get his new drug, Red Lion, on the market. But Mephistopheles (played by Lydia Mackay) makes it a popular street drug instead. Anyway, lots of other stuff happens and it's very futuristic. I loved the Marguerite character, called Gretchen. The scene where she's in prison was one of the best.
